The customer is to please make sure that access to the property is made available for the duration of the pool renovation process. Duration to complete the pool is approximately ±1 weeks. Pool renovations could take longer due to environmental factors as well as any setback from supplies/manufactures/other construction work (Eg: Tiles, Coping, Mosaics, client’s own contractors on the premise etc), the client will be informed if we have problems with the following. Only work that is specified on this pool renovation quote will be carried out by Pool Magic Edenvale. Anything that you may require extra or any verbal amendments must be arranged with the office only, for this will be charged accordingly on a separate quotation. All extra contract work quoted will need to be accepted in writing and paid in full by the customer before any further work on site can commence. When Fibreglassing/Marbeliting a pool: – We will not be held liable for discolouration or pigment failure due to dark colours being chosen. Customers are not to walk or pull any debris that has fallen into the pool once completed as curing is taking place. IF these terms have been discarded, the Customer will be held liable for damages done in the newly done pool surface/s (Eg: Foot imprint, dirty markings, etc), and unfortunately Pool Magic will need to charge the Customer to rectify. Newly done Fibreglass pool surfaces are extremely slippery due to the waxes, and Pool Magic will not be held liable if the customer slips causing server injury to themselves. Customer is responsible in filling up the pool and balancing the water. E.&.EO

The owner (Customer) shall not be entitled to cancel without prior consent of the contractor (PME). Should the owner cancel this contract prior to the contractor commencing work on this contract the owner agrees to pay the contractor 15% of the gross total contract price as agreed

POOL FINISHES

Dark coloured pool coats can discolour in patches or strikes.

ELECTRICAL SPECS: NEW POOLS ONLY

Owner (Customer) is to supply an electrical connection from dwelling’s main electrical distribution board.

RUBBLE FOR NEW POOLS ONLY

Owner (Customer) is responsible for arranging removal of excavated soil and rubble at their own cost. It is for the customer to arrange and ensure any other construction work that is taking place on the premises affecting the pool renovation process are removed before any work commences further.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:

IF there are BIG ROCKS underground, jack-hammering and/or blasting will be required and there will be an extra charge.

PAYMENT

No Cheques, No Cash Cheques, No Cheque Deposits and No Cash Deposits are accepted, if any of these methods of payment are made a bank fee charge will be added to your invoice. No work will commence once full stipulated percentages of payment on agreement reflects into the account (Payment takes up to 24 to 48 hours to reflect into our account) and contract is signed – Thereafter work will commence. All goods remain property of Pool Magic, Edenvale as well as a guarantee only become valid once full final payment has been made.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Please Note:

• Existing Piping and System could not be tested due to there being no water in the pool.

• We did not build the structure of the pool, Guarantee does not cover the marbelite being compromised due to alterations done to the structure.

• Once the client has completed the alterations, we would need to inspect the pool to see that the walls are ready for application.

• The power supply/Electrical Board needs to be tested by an electrician to make sure its compliant.

POOL MAGIC EDENVALE reserves the right to amend, modify, or update these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Any such changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Website. Continued use of this Website following any modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms & Conditions.
